KARLOVY VARY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Film Entry:
Only those applicants whose DVDs are posted before April 1, 2011 will be considered for the 46th Karlovy Vary IFF 2011.
In case that the original language of the film is not English, the screener must be provided with English subtitles. Please do not forget to send the following materials together with the screener: press kit (if available), director CV, synopsis of the film. The materials sent by email will not be accepted.
Important: Films that had their festival premiere before July 2010 (in case of documentaries before October 2010) cannot be considered for the program.
The regular program of the Karlovy Vary IFF consists of:
* Official Selection - Competition of Feature Films
Only films made after the January 1, 2010 which have not been previously shown in an international competition of another film festival can be included; the films must be presented as World, International or European Premieres
* Documentary Films in Competition
Both short (under 30 minutes) and feature-length (over 30 minutes)
* East of the West - Films in Competition
Feature-length films from Central and Eastern Europe as well as from the former Soviet Union
* Forum of Independents
Independent films from around the world compete for Independent Camera Award
