The Tiburon International Film Festival (TIFF) is an annual event, which seeks to provide a greater understanding of the world and its many cultures through the artistic medium of film, and through the top quality films from around the world. TIFF wishes to enhance tolerance between people of all backgrounds. Its goal is one of cultural enrichment and heightened cultural awareness, and to create a platform for the independent filmmakers to express their talent and vision from any nation. TIFF strongly believes in its motto: "Understanding the World through Film"®.
Tiburon, an annual festival, showcases international film art & contemporary trends. Competitive, Golden Reel Award. It is in the city of Tiburon, near San Francisco, California. The festival aims to bring the best new films from around the world. Over 270 films from more than 60 countries were shown at the last festival from over 2000 submissions worldwide. The festival has honored many great filmmakers like: Orson Welles, Sam Pekinpah, Malcolm McDowell, Luchino Visconti, Santiago Alvarez, John Frankenheimer, George Stevens, James Coburn ...

The films submitted to the Tiburon International Film Festival are eligible to win the Golden Reel Award in several categories: Best Fiction, Best Documentary, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Short, Best Animation, Best Children Film, Best Student Film...
The Audience Award will be presented to one film through submitted ballots and the winners of all categories will be announced at the end of the Festival.
