Ivana has left her teaching career and now works in total solitude as a translator. Yousul was a glass maker when he was in Tunis, but now lives in Rome and earns a living by cleaning up in a restaurant on the River Tiber. These two people are no stranger to one another: there's an invisible link between them. It's a link that cannot be defined, but has something they consider fundamental: it's something that goes beyond appearances and life itself.
