Enrico is a thirty-year old unempleyed man who spends his time entering state competitive examinations or with his friends at the local coffee shop. One day out of the blue his fiancée, Silvana ups and leaves him. Enrico falls apart and attempts suicide, but his heart isn’t in it.
He meets Elvira, a sweet and gentle girl whose heart was also recently broken. Everything seems to be getting back on track when Silvana decides to return. Enrico finds himself with two girlfriends.
He then meets a Martha, a beautiful Uruguayan with children who takes him back to her country but Enrico cannot forget Silvana...
