Tommaso Tiraboschi (Tognazzi) is a plastic surgeon married to a petulant wife and nagged by his mother and grandmother (Merlini and Martino) meets his brother also called Tommaso (Gassman) at their father’s funeral. The coffin however, is empty. The two brothers decide to find their missing father and decide that a good place to start would be Kuala Lumpur in Maleysia from where the coffin was sent home to Italy.
