Set in the Wild West of America at the turn of the last century, two brothers fall for the same woman, Lilith. Luke, the elder loses to Elijah, and decides to leave the country. Elijah and Lilith marry. In the meantime, Luke travels to Macedonia and becomes a mercenary. He is saved from death by Neda, a young pregnant woman.
Fast-forward 100 years to New York. A thief called Edge tries to steal from an elderly woman called Angela. She bargains with him and says that she will give him her collection of gold coins if he will listen to her story about two brothers who a long, long time ago were in love with the same woman....
