The "Bimba" of the title is a spoilt, untalented but extremely ambitious starlet whose one claim to fame is that she was cloned from a little-known American actress who was famous for 15 minutes and then fell into oblivion. Bimba finds out that her Doctor Salti, an unprincipled businessman, is behind the cloning and takes her rage out on him.
Despite her modest talent, Bimba is determined to become famous. She hides all the documents that prove her unusual origins and asks her clairvoyant, Fatima, to become her manager.
A serious of adventures lead Bimba to the knowledge of who she really is...
