This is the story of Turi and Teresa, the children of a fisherman on a small island off Sicily, and the action takes place over the period of a year. The adolescence of the two brothers is mixed in with the life of the island: work, tiredness, the rituals and habits of everyday life. Through the agitations, the emotions, new loves, conflicts, the passing of the seasons, the two brothers move towards an inevitable change.
