This short is made up of 20 scenes filmed for the movie Aprile, but never put into the final edit. Just like the film, these scenes switch between moments from Moretti’s private and public lives.
The story is over a two year span: from 1994 and Silvio Berlusconi’s electoral victory to 1996, the year when the Italian left wing won their only election in the last century. The cast includes Agata Apicella Moretti, Nanni Moretti, Silvia Nono, Silvio Orlando, Carlo Mazzacurati and Mario Schiano.
