"EXCELLENT CADAVERS" examines the relationship between the Sicilian Mafia and the Italian State from the post-war era to the 90’s. The film focuses on the maxi-trial in Palermo and the two prosecutors that made it possible: Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino. It is the story of a stunning victory against the mafia: the largest anti-mafia trial ever held, but it is also the story of a slow and inexorable death.
