The film is a tribute to all those people within the film industry, who despite having "humble" roles played a decisive part in making the "dream factory" work. A documentary which collects unedited accounts of those family groups working on Italian film sets of the Sixties, celebrating their more human aspects rather than the legendary workings of the cinema.
