8-year-old Pek Kom has jumped on a mine while gathering fruits and mushrooms for his family. Now he's alone in his hospital bed. His wife is far away and they cannot meet. Vauro decides to travel across the jungle in search of his wife. This on-the-road document shows a country that is still in the grips of poverty even though the war ended 15 years ago and, in spite of the extreme difficulties, the people struggle with everyday life with courage and determination.
