One summer day, Lara, Pietro Paladini’s wife dies suddenly, but he is not with her: as fate would have it, he is off somewhere else saving another woman’s life, a total stranger.
A completely absurd coincidence, which Pietro is unable to explain to his daughter Claudia, who is ten years old and in fifth grade. Pietro accompanies his daughter to school on her first day, and quite unexpectedly decides to wait until all her classes are over. The next day he does the same thing, day after day he follows the same routine. He remains in his car waiting for her. Pietro waits for the pain to arrive, but after the quiet chaos begins a time of awakening. From the novel by Sandro Veronesi with the same name.
