Conceived in honour of centennial of Roberto Rossellini's birth, this work, inspired by the film Europa '51, ends up dealing with the death of two young men from Clichy-Sous-Bois in the suburb of Paris. The two men, on the run from the police, hide in an electrical sub station and are electrocuted. This incident was the origin of the fights which shocked Paris in Autumn 2005. |
