In this documentary Simone (director and producer of the video) tells the story of his transformation from woman to man; a disenchanted and touching diary of the physical and psychological changes that the protagonist underwent in the period between the end of the 90’s and 2005. During the making and preparation of the film, elaborate, rigorous and almost scientific, it began to assume a meaning and take shape in an unexpected way, absorbing the effects of the transformations that the protagonist was going through, creating a sort of image diary. Dalla testa ai piedi is made up, substantially, of a double nature: on the one hand a documentary on the research for gender identity, on the other it has become the instrument through which the protagonist performs his research.
