In 2003 the director meets a boy living a life on the social fringe and decides to film his disturbing existence. He meets other children in the neighbourhood and begins documenting their dreams and exigencies in a world of extremely hard social reality. Then one day the boy scarpers and the film ends. Years later, after an unexpected turn of events, the filmmaker remembers and reflects on it all.
