Selections for Berlinale are open

From the 19th to the 22th of November will take place in Rome.the Italian selections of the 69. Internationalen Filmfestspiele Berlin.
The delegate for Italy and member of Berlinale selection committee, Vincenzo Bugno, and the director of Panorama, Paz Lazaro will be our guest at Istituto Luce Cinecittà to select Italian films for the upcoming edition. In the same days, the director of the festival Dieter Kosslick will be in Rome as well.
To be eligible for the selections, films must have been produced within the last twelve months (starting from February 2018) and only released in their country of origin..
Priority will be given to World and International Premieres, please check details of regulations on How to Berlinale.
To submit your film please send an email to g.guerrasio@cinecittaluce.it and Serena Mazzi s.mazzi@cinecittaluce.it pecifying the title, the genre and the director’s name.
For what concerns documentaries, the contact is instead a.massatani@cinecittaluce.it.
Only upon reception of your email, we will send you a personal fee waiver code that must be used to fill out the Entry Form of Berlinale. Using the waiver code, you won’t pay the Berlinale submission fee.
You must fill out and send the completed film entry to the Berlinale before Friday, November 9th, 2018.
Therefore, we ask that you please send us the following materials by Monday, November 12th:
A dvd/blue ray or a link with English subtitles with the indication of which section you wish to apply for.
A Pressbook, in English;

Berlinale receives every year thousands of films. Each one is seen and discussed. It is therefore possible that candidates may be contacted even after few weeks.
