At 34th Moscow International Film Festival, that ended on June 30th, Italy gained five prizes with the two films participating in the Main Competition. Magnificent Presence by Ferzan Ozpetek won the Audience Award, ACAB by Stefano Sollima the FIPRESCI prize and the Russian Film Critics prize.
Russian Film Club Federation gave first and second prizes to Sollima and Ozpetek's films as well.
Magnificent had been sold to Russian territory by Fandango Portobello earlier this year.
