The Festival promotes the audiovisual language of Italian and international cinema, promotes the knowledge of new authors, the circulation of the documentary, supports the visibility of the experimental works that do not find suitable distribution, with particular attention to the emerging cinematography and artistic trends. The Festival encourages initiatives aimed at the training of the younger generation, organizing conferences, study seminars, laboratories, workshops and all the publishing activities functional to the purpose.
SECTIONS OF THE FESTIVAL:
In competition:
FEATURE FILMS: Section open to feature films, preferably 1^ or 2^, in Italian; alternatively, works of any nationality will be accepted provided they are subtitled in Italian; minimum duration 60 Minutes.
DOCUMENTARIES: Section open to documentaries in Italian, alternatively works of any nationality will be accepted provided that they are subtitled in Italian; maximum duration 70 minutes, including end credits.
SHORT MOVIES:. Section open to short movies in Italian; alternatively, works of any nationality will be accepted provided they are subtitled in Italian; maximum duration 30 minutes, including end credits.
Out of competition:
Non-competitive section dedicated to feature films, documentaries and short films. The organization reserves the right to insert out of
competition: a) works that have been nominated and not selected for the competition; b) works of value and/or cultural interest, c) works invited by the Festival direction.
Secondary sections:
Non-competitive sections dedicated to the cinema with innovative content and languages; to the audiovisual produced by filmmakers, working groups, associations and collectives; to the audiovisual that narrates the world of wine and food. The Festival reserves the
possibility to create new sections based on the characteristics of the works presented.
