Film frontier is to be seen in its symbolic value as well as its geographic one: territorial, cultural and language frontiers but also frontiers of the soul, meeting point of past, present and future.
Frontier is not meant as a limit, but as a window on the universe and surrounding different universe, an intercultural cinema looking for common features between peoples rather than divisive ones.
Italian and foreign works, published and unpublished, fictional or documentary are admitted to participate to the selection.
The Jury for the Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Frontiera short film competition will award the following official prizes:
1. “Jury Prize for best short film”
2. “Special Jury mention for short movie section”
