AMERIKA is the tragicomic story of Karl Rossmann, a young European Jew who is expedited to America like a postal package, in order to flee from a scandal, which involves himself and a maid. He needs to reach his uncle Jacob, an authentic American uncle who needs to find him a job and a place to stay. This is how the tribulations of this man-horse begin, (Ross - Mann) set in an America already revealing the imaginary and surprising prohetic Kafka vision, the evils, the contradictions as well as explosive vitality. Amerika was taken from the theatrical piece directed by Maurizio Scaparro for the per Eliseo Theatre (2000) to then become a full length feature, filmed in digital.
