You are in your early twenties and your life is a bundle of endless opportunities, you just have to reach out for them. That’s what people say, at least. But one day, a rainy day, you car accidentally crashes into another one; it’s a police car and the cops are in civilian clothes. Before you know it, you end up at the police station because you just wouldn’t keep still while they were beating the hell out of you. From that evening on, your life changes. You still go to your pub, the “Waiting for Godard”, you date the pretty bartender, your best friend still manages to see the positive side of life and your loving family is there for you. But rage is eating you from the inside. You feel that the possibility of choosing for yourself has been stripped away from you. And you are tired of waiting. Or, that same evening, your car stops in time and you don’t crash with the police. Violence does not enter your life. You continue working by taking care of your plants at the garden centre and your boss continues laughing at you when asked for a pay-raise. You still go to your pub, the “Waiting for Godard”, you kind of like the pretty bartender but you date a client of the garden centre, a wealthy girl. Nobody notices, not even your best friend - the optimist of the group - that something is eating you up inside, and you feel that you never had the possibility of choosing for yourself. And you are tired of waiting. Based and inspired by Genoa’s G8 events.
