In Rome, the eternal city where a clear line divides the rich from the poor, the famous and the obscure, the city downtown and the suburbs, Alex, Gaia and Marco dream with escaping a future that seems so clearly already designed for them Life in the streets, daily work at the farmers market, poverty, petty drug dealings, and a dream: hip hop.
Suddenly for Alex the dream becomes true, and he finds himself thrown into the rap world, swallowed by its hard realities.
But to govern one’s own destiny is complex and difficult, and Alex makes many mistakes, until he finds himself a star of rap, yes, but ephemeral and alone. He’ll have to overcome his own demons, the hardness of the world and its own inner turmoil. He’ll have to learn to love his own anger, overcome it and understand what does he really want.
ZETA is a coming of age tale with a hip hop background, a story of friendship, love and redemption in the pursue of one’s own dreams.
