Antonio’s first day as a thief is a day marked by tears. During a raid at the big department store,Standa, his mother is arrested after getting caught red handed by one of the undercover store personnel. Twenty years later, Antonio together with his old group of friends tries to pull off “ the big break “. After small crimes and petty thefts, the time has come to hold up the Postal office, but things do not go as they planned. A police agent opens fire and the band ends up lying down bleeding on the sidewalk . Antonio would like to like to make his “getaway” smiling, but unable actually find something to smile about, he disguises himself as Lupin III, his cartoon hero and is readly to take off with his sweetheart.
