A simple story, about time.
About time that is left and about panting, for physical conditions and even for resolving things at the last minute.
Bruno Keller, the main character's fictional name, is a television director who finally has the opportunity to make his long awaited movie, "Mal'essere" (title stands for malaise, unrest, discomfort).
But Bruno finds out he has a heart condition, and this will probably affect the making of his film: he feels time is running out.
He realizes that to make a real masterpiece he needs profound truths which only life can give, because he just has no time to reharse, to study the script in deep.
So he decides to use actors who carry deep scars inside themselves, huge senses of guilt, unmentionable evil deeds: he wants to use their real sufferings to give the movie strenght, because he has no more time.
But Keller's diabolical plan hides other sorrows, other truths that will slowly reemerge.
