Selections for Chicago

Deadline July 26th

Selections for Chicago

The Chicago International Film Festival, The Chicago International Film Festival, taking place October 13-24, 2021, is accepting entries for feature length fiction and documentary films.
The festival is one of the oldest international festivals in the United States and this year will celebrate its 57th edition. It presents over 120 films each year from nearly 60 countries.
As usual, Istituto Luce Cinecittà organizes the Italian selections of the festival. For obvious reasons due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not host the festival director Mimi Plauche in Rome this year, but we will always be in contact with her in order to coordinate the submissions of Italian films.
Elegibility: the films must have been completed after 1 August 2020 and the U.S. premiere is a requirement for the New Directors and Documentary Competitions and given a priority for other competitions and non-competitive programs of the Festival. More information about the programs and rules and regulations can be found >at this link<.
Submissions: for the Chicago selections it is not necessary to register online and / or pay submission fees if you participate in the selections we organize.
You are kindly requested to send us an e-mail with title and director of the film (please specify if it’s a feature film or a documentary). It is not mandatory to fill the entry form online.
Together with the request, you should send us a link of the film with Eng subtitles by Monday July 26, 2021.
