The International Promotion Area of ​​Cinecittà is organizing the Italian selections for the 72. Berlinale.
From November 22nd to the 24th, Carlo Chatrian, Director, and Lorenzo Esposito, Delegate for Italy and member of the selection committee, will watch Italian films at Cinecittà in Rome.
From November 25th to the 27th, 2021 we will host Cristina Nord, director of the Forum section for the pre-selections.
Feature films produced during the 12 months preceding the festival (from February 2021) and distributed only in the country of origin are eligible for the pre-selections.
For the Competition and Encounters priority will be given to World and International premieres. For Panorama, Forum and Generation, the minimum requirement is the European premiere.
